Set up a discussion board

This page explains how to open a new forum on a course discussion board.
  • Click Course Tools under Control Panel in the left hand menu.
  • Click on Discussion Board.
    • This shows you the forums already made, and the Create Forum button.
  • Click the Create Forum button.
  • Give the forum a name.
  • Use the descriptions section to explain the forum topic and provide further instructions.
  • Fill in the other forum options (availability and settings).
  • Click Submit.
